Achterberg is a small but very attractive village in the municipality of Rhenen. Achterberg is an agricultural village with monumental farms and the Trekvogelpad runs straight through the village.
During the construction of our house, the zoning plan also revealed the possibility of starting a bed and breakfast, which we seized with both hands.
Whether you enjoy a long walk (the start of the Grift and Graftenpad is in our village), a nice bike ride (beautiful routes along the Grebbeberg), a visit to Ouwehands Dierenpark, a spectacular canoe trip, or shopping in one of the nearby cities such as Utrecht and Arnhem the Plattelandshoeve is an excellent starting point.
Our village hospitality, a delicious country breakfast (optionally bookable for € 17,50 p.p.), the peace and quiet and the beautiful surroundings ensure an unforgettable stay at Bed and Breakfast de Plattelandshoeve!
