In the middle of the nature reserve ‘De Hout’ - located between Swalmen and the German border - lies our centuries-old farmhouse ‘de Houterhoeve’. The beautiful surrounding nature of the Swalmen valley offers numerous cycling and hiking routes. For instance, the Maas-Schwalm-Nette path traverses the farm and the Pieterpad is at worp distance, just across the small river Swalm. After a walking or cycling tour, you can completely relax here in our guesthouse or enjoy the beautiful sunsets on the veranda overlooking the surrounding meadows. Our spacious double guesthouse is located in the former stable of the farm and offers a lot of comfort and privacy. The room is equipped with a double bed (with two separate duvets) and features a modern bathroom. The accommodation has direct access to the veranda where you can sit outside in the evening and enjoy the beautiful skies or have breakfast in the morning.
