For cyclists and walkers, the surroundings offer something for ‘everyone’. West Bommelerwaard and the surrounding area is steeped in history. Loevestein Castle, Ammersoijen Castle, the fortified towns of Zaltbommel, Woudrichem, Heusden and Gorinchem are just around the corner. Nature lovers are also well catered for here. There is plenty to discover in the Meuse and Waal rivers and in the floodplains and nature reserves (including the Lieskampen and the Rampert). Water sports and recreation, everything is possible in our beautiful West Bommelerwaard. Breakfast options are available against payment and longer stays can also be discussed.
