After 35 years of living and working in Amsterdam, I have taken the step to return to my native village to fulfil my long-held dream of running my own B&B in the parental home in the Maas village of Linne. The accommodation is 7 km from the historic city of Roermond which is worth a visit for culture, shopping, the Designer Outlet and cosy restaurants. The rural surroundings are suitable for beautiful walking and cycling trips and a 15-minute drive away is the National Park De Meinweg and the beautiful Golf Club De Herkenbosche. There is a pick-up and drop-off service for hikers of the Pieterpad (Montfort 3 km away). The accommodation offers 2 beautiful rooms with a luxurious bathroom, a cosy sitting and dining room and, when the weather is nice, the terrace is a great place to relax. Hostess Liesbeth serves a tasty, traditional breakfast with fried bacon and egg and apple slices. You can dine at the hostess' place or reserve a table at Restaurant Lus aan de Maas.
