Historical cities like Enkhuizen or Hoorn, tourist sights like Volendam and Marken, are within easy reach. From the houseboat it is easy to go cycling in the nearby 'Waterland' and explore the picturesques villages and enjoy the dikes and the green pastures which are part of this unique Dutch scenery.
