The Poortgebouw Hoogstraat is a monumental building in the woods of Leersum and was restored in 2017. The entire right part is one house consisting of a private entrance, living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms both with a double bed. One bedroom is on the first floor, the other on the second floor. For each room there is a private bathroom with bath and/ or walk-in shower. This B&B is rented to one group at a time. The spacious living room has a kitchenette and piano and upstairs on the landing there is also a small sitting area. The living room adjoins an enclosed terrace with lounge set and an outdoor stove. In front of the property is also a terrace, where you can enjoy the morning sun and have a delicious breakfast. The Poortgebouw is located on the beautiful Utrechtse Heuvelrug, where you can hike and bike. It is located on the De Hoogstraat estate and was split off in the late 1980s and became privately owned. The estate has since been used as an asylum seekers center
