Bredevoort is located on the edge of National Landscape Park Winterswijk with its enchanting hedgerow landscape, where cycling and walking are wonderful. A visit to the Korenburgerveen (the largest living raised bog area in the Netherlands) with nesting cranes in the summer and the Eurasian eagle-owl are worth visiting. Or the Zwilbrockervenn, just across the border, with its flamingos.
