If you love the countryside, you will surely never want to leave this place. B&B De Vrolijke Lodge overlooks the meadows with a view extending all the way to the IJsselmeer dike. The lodges are centrally located in a fantastic area of meadows and waterways (Laag Holland), while the picturesque villages of Edam, Volendam, and De Rijp, as well as cities like Amsterdam and Alkmaar, are just a short distance away. They are also easily accessible by public transport, and the renovated Hoornse Strand can even be reached by bicycle. There are 2 new and stylish apartments located in the architecturally designed building, equipped with every imaginable convenience: spacious and furnished to accommodate up to 4 people. The large garden offers everything you need to relax, and at the break of dawn, you may even spot a hare or pheasant darting by. The lodge is comfortable all year round thanks to geothermal heating and cooling. Parking is available on private premises.
