De Wiekeborg is a B&B in a fantastic location in Oude Pekela. It is situated on a peninsula that is surrounded by the Pekelder Bos. We have three rooms (with full supermodern airco): a room on the first floor, the studio downstairs in the garden and the chalet in the garden and by the water with its own terrace. There are several terraces in the garden, also on the water. Our garden is our greatest pride, landscaped in 2023 under architecture with palm trees, walking paths, an olive tree and many exotic plants. The water revetment is provided with boulders from the Jura Mountains. In addition, the garden consists of a lorangery (built in 2024) with various seating areas and heat sources. This orangery is also available to the guest, as well as a secure covered bicycle shed with charging facilities. Pets are not allowed with us. You can fish and swim in the lake, there is a beach 200 meters away. In severe frost it is an ice rink.
