The surrounding area is eminently suitable for true nature lovers for walking or cycling. From the B&B, the Canada Lake, the Aekingerzand, the Bosbergtoren, Fochteloërveen, Golfclub de Hildenberg and the Visitor Centre are within walking and cycling distance. For hikers walking the Drenthe Trail, an overnight stay at De Posthoorn is ideal.
