We love to welcome you in our Bed & Breakfast Arkel! Arkel is a village (near the town Gorinchem) located in the centre of the country. A detached cottage, originally a pigsty, has been transformed into a comfortable studio with a small kitchen and modern bathroom. There is a double bed (also to be used as two singles) and a sofabed. Of course there is also television and WiFi. The surroundings of Arkel are popular for cyclists, but non-cyclists can have lots of fun and interesting sightseeing, for example, the castle Loevestein, the windmills of Kinderdijk, the Glasmuseum in Leerdam, the historical city Gorinchem, all near and easy to visit. Of course we will give all information. The railwaystation is only at a distance of 1 km. The train goes to Geldermalsen and Dordrecht (with free transportation for your bike). Busses drive to Utrecht and Gorinchem. You can park your car safely within a gate and your bike in the barn.
