In the national park Drentsche Aa lies the small ash village of Balloo, containing our Bed and Breakfast ‘Hof van Balloo’. We have created 2 B&B rooms in our farmhouse with private parking spaces. In our yard we have horses, chickens, cats, a dog and a guinea pig. All this is a great base to explore the beautiful surroundings and you can do so walking, cycling, on horseback and touring by car. Take your walking shoes, bike or horse and go out into the Drentsche Aa National Park and enjoy all its beauty. We can help you find routes and possibly guide you for outdoor rides with your own horse. Assen is nearby and Groningen is also within easy reach.
