Olle Hansenhaus

A stay at the Olle Hansenhaus isn't a standard holiday – it's an experience full of atmosphere, history, and a touch of artistic magic. Just a stone's throw from the historic Elfstedenstad (Eleven Cities Town) of Dokkum, you'll find a unique place to stay: the "Blue House." This charming farmhouse with blue shutters boasts a huge 3.600 m² garden, a cozy "Green Guesthouse," and even an outdoor shower. This farmhouse is owned by German artist Peter T. Schulz, and his surroundings often served as the backdrop for his poetic-philosophical photographs, sculptures, and poems. Now you can experience the special atmosphere of this place! In the evenings, the wood-burning stove creates an extra cozy atmosphere. Two authentic box beds offer a comfortable sleeping space, while upstairs, a large family bed invites you to snuggle up together. This holiday home, along with the guesthouse, is ideal for two families or a group of friends. A total of ten people can spend their holidays here.
