Just a stone's throw from the historic Eleven Cities town of Dokkum, you will find a unique place to stay: the ‘Blue House’. This characterful farmhouse with blue shutters features a huge garden of 3,600 m², a cozy ‘Green Guest House’, and even an outdoor shower.
This farmhouse is owned by the German artist Peter T. Schulz, and its surroundings often served as the backdrop for his poetic-philosophical photographs, sculptures, and poems. Now you can experience the special atmosphere of this place!
In the evening, the wood-burning stove adds to the coziness. Two authentic box beds offer a snug sleeping spot, while upstairs, a large family bed invites you to snuggle up together.
In the garden stands the Green Guest House, featuring a private bathroom and toilet, which can accommodate six guests and can be booked in addition upon consultation.
