In the middle of the farmlands of Scherpenzeel Gelderland under a 150-year-old chestnut tree in a quiet spot in the yard is the bed&breakfast ‘DeRode Zonnehoed’. The cottage is located a short distance from the Scherpenzeel estate, where you can take beautiful walks and cycle tours. In the meadows adjacent to the cottage you can regularly see roe deer walking , also the meadow birds , buzzards , falcons , and owls can be admired or heard. The B & B is fully screened by a willow hedge, so you have your own piece of PRIVATE where the wood-fired barrel sauna is both dry and wet to use through flushes There is also a spacious 5-person jacuzzi waiting for you, and for those who prefer a cold-water tub. A complete PRIVATE cottage with bathroom, lovely double bed, kitchenette with fridge, nepresso coffee machine and pressure cooker. Bathrobes, towels and slippers are provided. A delicious breakfast is served in the room.
