S Albertsmaheert is located on one of the oldest roads from the city of Groningen to the north, the Hogeland, called Wolddijk. This farm was 4 years ago still fully operational. Now run the owners Roelof Ditty and the B & B. They have the old hayloft converted into three apartments and downstairs is a nice dining room made where breakfast is served and where guests can recreate. There is a south facing terrace with a large lawn, where use can be made. The rooms are named after the guarantors that used to around here. The farm is located on a node route is a great base for cycling tours along ancient waterways, "hoogholtjes", mills and dikes. There are beautiful trails through meadows. Albertsmaheert is approximately 8 km from the center of Groningen.
