B & Bs 'Meer van Zwaantje' (More of Cygnet) is situated in a particularly beautiful hilly area close to the' Drenthepad ', on the 'Drentse Hondsrug'. You stay in one fully-equipped room with private entrance, shower and toilet. Outside you can sit in your own garden. In any season and in any weather is it beautiful and there is something to see. The B & B is on a dirt road in Zwanemeerbos and you look from the Hondsrug on "Hunze valley" with its beautiful hiking and walking trails. Camping Swan Lake and the (outdoor) pool of the same name are within walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants and fun attractions nearby. The cities Assen and Groningen are you with public transport or car in a quarter to half an hour. Beautiful walks around a forty mounds from prehistoric times you start from the B & B.
