Welcome to stay the night in the cheerful and very quiet house: with the garden room or in the room at the front of the house. The Oranjestraat is situated in a green neighbourhood, on the edge of the Noorderplantsoen. The home of artist Geertje van Zijpp was built in 1924 and is very colorful, has many authentic details and you will find a lot of paintings made by Geertje on the walls. You find a private bathroom with rainshower, a toilet, a kitchen for making coffee and tea, with induction plate, oven-microwave and refrigerator. You can come to sleep with 1 until 6 people, you always have privacy, no other guests. Breakfast is served in the snug breakfast room overlooking the small garden, where you can find in the warmer seasons some rest between the flowers. Geertje lives upstairs, you have your own front door downstairs. The old centre of Groningen is only 5 walking minutes from the house, with lots of possibilities to explore the bustling city.
