Hoeve 202 is a guesthouse with two spacious bedrooms on the first floor with bathroom and if you want you can take your horse or dog with you. But even without your animals you are most welcome. Hoeve 202 is situated on the frisian border of two provinces, Drenthe and Friesland, between 3 National Parks. The farm with number 202 was part of the Colony of the Benevolence. Each farm consisted of a plot of about three hectares with a small farmhouse. In the area around Frederiksoord they build 200 years ago more than 400 farms for the poor of the cities . Hoeve 202 is one of the few remaining original plots of the former colony. The farmhouse was built around 1821 and the attached part is build in the 50's.
