B&B De kleine Bongerd - The little Orchard - in Hengelo, one of the villages in the municipality of Bronckhorst, in the still relatively unknown Achterhoek. Nice and quiet, with a few supermarkets, bakeries, and cozy eateries within walking distance. To start the day right: homemade delicacies, freshly squeezed juice, warm rolls, and tasty eggs. The friendly atmosphere and hospitality are naturally experienced with us. Local top attractions are the beautifully renovated Ruurlo Castle with paintings by Karel Willink etc., and the park around Hackfort Castle, where you can walk and, above all, enjoy a delicious meal. Along the IJssel are the historic Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Doesburg, where there is always something to do and see: an old city wall, labyrinthine streets, special courtyards, and houses with famous names.
