B&B De kleine Bongerd in the small village of Hengelo, in Bronckhorst, is still pleasantly quiet, and there are several good dining locations within walking distance. Guests appreciate the bed and the shower. The day starts off well with homemade jam, freshly squeezed juice, and warm bread rolls with eggs. Hospitality is second nature to us, and the warm, bubbling jacuzzi with a terrace is available for relaxation. The Pieterpad trail is nearby, which is great for hiking or cycling. A drop-off and pick-up service is available. The area is highly suitable for cycling; charging for bikes is possible, and there is covered storage. Activities range from road races to Christian gatherings. Use of the jacuzzi is by arrangement and for an additional fee. There is plenty to discover: local top attractions include castles and the IJssel river, with the historic Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Doesburg.
