In the middle of the green heart in a former lock keeper's complex from the early 1800s, lies our Bed & Breakfast [H]eerlijk!
The carefully renovated provincial monument can accommodate 8 guests in 3 cosy rooms.
The cosiness of the Tolhuis lock, which connects the Amstel to the Drecht and Aar canals, combined with the tranquillity of the polder at the back, make for an unforgettable experience.
On arrival, soft organic cotton towels are already waiting on the fresh linen bedding. The bathrobes are hanging ready and with a bit of luck you can already smell the freshly baked apple pie from the adjacent tea garden.
In the morning, you will enjoy a full home-made breakfast with lots of local products in the breakfast room (originally the waiting room of the lock), or in the garden if the weather is nice.
There is plenty to do in our beautiful surroundings, but if you want to linger around the B&B, you can enjoy our spacious garden with fantastic views
