We chose the name for our b&b because we are right between fort maarsseveen and fort de Gagel. Both can be visited and also fort de Gagel is being converted into a restaurant. Noorderpark is a beautiful nature reserve 5 min away where you can cycle and walk endlessly. Our b&b is next to the maarsseveense plassen (lakes) where you can swim, relax and we have a canoe available for a nice trip. The many cycling routes invite you to tour along many forts in the area, which you can also visit, and of course cycling along the vecht is worthwhile. There is also a beautiful sauna nearby and several good restaurants. Maarssendorp 5 min away is a small cosy village with nice shops. Utrecht city centre is 25 min cycling from our b&b. We have 2 loaner bikes. We like to give tips about the area and our website has many outings.
