A rural bed and breakfast located near the water with wide views over the Groningen meadows. That is B&B Doezumertocht and we would like to welcome you. The name Doezumertocht is a reference to the canal that runs in front of our house. This starts in the nearby village of Surhuisterveen, and runs through to the large Van Starkenborghkanaal. The B&B is in the middle of the scenic landscape for which the Westerkwartier, our Groningen municipality that lies against the Frisian border, is so well known. For years we have lived here with pleasure, enjoying the peace and space, which we hope to share with you. The B&B is built behind our house and overlooks the Doezumertocht at the front, and a meadow landscape at the back.
