The nature reserve De Bloemkampen (Natuurmonumenten) is at walking distance, the Hierdense beek and the Veluwe lake just a short walk away. You can easily reach the Veluwe by bike or car, where you can enjoy endless walking and cycling. The village of Hierden is close to the town of Harderwijk with all amenities and entertainment (on the Boulevard or in the historic centre). You can also take a city tour with a city guide for a small fee. Elburg is also within cycling distance. In the evening, you can relax in the canopy (with pot-bellied stove) that belongs to the B&B.
