In the middle of the new country lies our beautiful B&B on the former island of Schokland, the Netherlands' first World Heritage Site. On a former farmyard, you can enjoy peace and space. The rooms are located on the top floor, guaranteeing panoramic views of the farmlands and the Schokker forest. From the B&B, you can explore the island with its old harbour, the Schokkerbos, the rock garden and the museum. On the island there are many routes for walking and cycling where you can learn all about the rich history of the former island in the Zuiderzee. There is also a wealth of archaeological finds on display. And, of course, the story of the Northeast Polder is told. Other attractions within the Northeast Polder are also well worth discovering. Think of the former island of Urk, Het Waterloopbos with its hidden waterworks and the Orchideeënhoeve. The youngest piece of the Netherlands is there to be discovered!
