We have made a guest house in a historic wagon shed along the dike. The monumental barn has been thoroughly restored. The centuries-old trusses and walls provide a cozy atmosphere. The modern furnishings, kitchen and bathroom offer all the comfort you wish for during a moment of rest in the countryside. From the bedroom on the top floor you have a wide view over the IJssel. Until November 2024, there were about a hundred dairy cows and associated young cattle at the Bissems Hofstede. Because we have no successor, we have decided to stop our dairy sector but continue as an agricultural farm with, among other things, arable farming. Our land by the river is part of an internationally recognized nature reserve called the IJsselvallei. You can walk and cycle from the farm through the river Close by lie the picturesque Hanseatic cities Hattem, Zwolle, Kampen and Deventer. Breakfast can be booked optionally for 15 euros per person.
