Le Pays de Cocagne....the mythical land of Kokanje. In the middle of the Lazy Land of South-West Drenthe, we rent out part of our farm as a holiday flat. Hiking, cycling, riding your own horse or just enjoying yourself. It is all possible. Koekange is a village in the municipality of De Wolden and lies halfway between Meppel and Hoogeveen. Nature reserves such as Boswachterij Ruinen, Dwingelderveld, the Reest valley, Holtingerveld, Drents-Friese Wold and the Weerribben are just around the corner. We have created extra stables so that guests can bring their own horse(s) for outdoor rides during their stay. On our farm, besides stables, we also have facilities to make your horse at home comfortable. We have an ebb and flow all-weather riding arena (40x20 m), a sand paddock and two large pastures of over half an acre in total.
