Situated in the heart of the Cango Valley near Oudtshoorn, this guest house features elegantly decorated rooms with a private patio overlooking the Schoemanshoek Valley and the Swartberg Mountain Range.
With complimentary tea/coffee facilities and sherry, all light rooms at Die Fonteine come with rustic furniture and a sitting area. Each of the private bathrooms has an old-world bathtub or a walk-in shower.
A freshly prepared breakfast is served daily on the covered veranda, which overlooks the surrounding gardens. For dinner, guests can find 2 restaurants within 5 km from Die Fonteine Country Guest House.
The owner can help organise trips to the Karusa Winery (200 metres away), where guests can enjoy wine tasting with a cheese platter. It is also possible to order a picnic basket for a trip to the Rust and Vrede Waterfall (15 km).
The famous Swartberg Pass is only 15 km from the guest house. The Cango Caves and Cango Wildlife Ranch are less than a 10-minute drive away.
