The Tiny Walnut is located in the pretty hamlet of Hien, an outlying area of Dodewaard in the province of Gelderland called the Betuwe. It lies on a wooden shoe path but also near an ANWB cycling junction. Hien is conveniently located near cities such as Arnhem, Nijmegen, Tiel, Rhenen, Ede and Wageningen. In summer, there are several ferries that take you across the Waal or Rhine. The Tiny Walnut is a 2 to 3 person flat spread over 2 floors. On the ground floor is the entrance and spacious bathroom with washing machine and dryer. The upper floor has a luxury kitchen, cosy dining area, comfortable sleeping and sitting areas. You can also use the canopy with wood-burning stove and there are various seating areas. E-bikes can be rented to explore this beautiful area and a guarded/ closed bicycle shed with electricity to charge batteries is available.
