Due to its location behind the dunes of the South Beach and the “Bosjes van Poot” (forest) and adjacent to the “Haagse Beek” (Brook of the Hague) one speaks about the Vogelwijk as a "Hague oasis by the sea". The B&B is also on walking distance from the well known shopping street Frederik Hendriklaan (The Fred), museums as Gemeentemuseum and Museon, Omniversum theater and of course the Scheveningen port.

Positive Experiences
We absolutely loved our two nights in Vogelwijk. The light and airy top-floor... 'apartment' with comfortable, stylish bedroom, practical and airy bathroom, separate toilet (handy) and bonus little living room with table, chairs and everything for coffee/tea and drinks, allowed us to really relax and spread ourselves out. Breakfast was a delight, with everything you could possibly want, all homemade and delicious: toasted granola, yoghurt, fresh fruit, homemade bread, jams, cheese and meats.

Bereits 4 x gebucht. Schöne, relativ ruhige Lage. Kostenlose Parkplät...ze in der Straße direkt vorm Hause. 8-10 Minuten Fußweg zur Tram 11 Richtung Scheveningen Promenade/Kurhaus und Strand, sowie 8 Minuten zum Bus 24 Richtung Kijkduin Strand. - 20 Minuten Fußmarsch durch 2 schattige Wäldchen und Düne direkt zum ruhigen Strand von Duindorp. - Sehr gutes, liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück. Eigenes Brot und Marmeladen. Lecker, lecker. Immer wieder. Danke Anne & Jan.
For improvement
Gefährlichen, scharfkantigen Dachbalken im Bad dringlichst abhobeln. Haben uns daran bereits 2x verletzt. - Keine deutschsprachigen Fernsehkanäle.
